In December 2022, at Limerick District Court, Patrick was sentenced to five years in prison for growing cannabis and giving cannabis oil, free-of-charge, to people in dreadful pain, some at the end of life.
This is not justice, it is persecution. Patrick must be freed from prison now!

This is not just about Pat’s freedom
but about lack of access to cannabis as medicine
Ireland’s Medical Cannabis Access Programme is designed to fail because in Ireland the medical establishment refuses to accept the value of cannabis.
Throughout the EU, hundreds of thousands of people are legally prescribed cannabis but in Ireland a small group of senior doctors is blocking progress. It makes us one of the most backwards countries in Europe with thousands of people left in unnecessary pain.
If we had proper access, Pat would never have felt it necessary to grow cannabis in the first place. Instead, GPs would be able to prescribe it and the HSE would be able to save a great deal of money on much more expensive but ineffective drugs.
We’re calling for justice for Patrick Moore
and for better access to medicinal cannabis
